We are pleased to announce that OnlyKey WebCrypt is now available. With this release we have built the first serverless OpenPGP Everywhere app. Using PGP with key stored safely offline has never been easier.
In order to get started make sure you have the OnlyKey Beta 6 Firmware and follow the steps below:
Step 1 – Set up a Keybase account
Step 2 – Load your Keybase private key onto OnlyKey
Step 3 – Now you can try out sending secure messages with WebCrypt.
What’s next for WebCrypt?
We are continuing to expand the features of WebCrypt to do things like supporting multiple recipient encrypted messages. We are also working to expand the capabilities of OpenPGP Everywhere to new areas such as Android support and even online password managers.
